Pakistan’s Haider Ali Takes Home Bronze Medal at Paris Paralympics 2024

On Friday, Haider won his fourth medal of the Paralympics when he successfully threw his discus 52.54 metres at Stade de France to claim a bronze medal and take home another award.Haider participated in his F37 category and secured Pakistan’s inaugural gold medal during Tokyo Paralympics.His medal tally at the largest stage on Earth consists of one gold, two silver and bronze medals.

Haider attempted to defend his crown, but was plagued with bad throws which were repeatedly marked out, except his first throw which measured 52.28 meters and kept him at the top until Jesse Zesseu from Canada posted one at 52.81 meters and overtook Haider.
